Accusing the police of booking him under section 153 and 550E of IPC based on the advice of the CM for making statements about Jayalalithaa’s conviction in the DA case based on hard facts, Raja said the CM who was incapable of proving the arguments made by him in the open letter about apex court’s condemnation against Jayalalithaa in the DA case, has foisted the case in a cowardly manner. “I thank the CM and Tamil Nadu police as the case, if charge sheet were filed, would give me an opportunity in the trial court to prove that the Supreme Court condemnations against Jayalalithaa in the disproportionate assets case were true,” said the former union minister, sustaining the statement with the CM on corruption issue.

H“Nothing would be more politically ignorant if the CM thinks that he can intimidate me or stop my legal arguments through such cases,” said the DMK deputy general secretary who was acquitted in the 2G case by the CBI special court in Delhi a few years ago. Asserting that the corruptions of Jayalalithaa and Palaniswami-led government would be exposed through the case foisted on him, Raja said the time is not far when the CM and his ministers would be brought to books and punished for their corruption after the formation of the DMK government.
