5 measures Tamil Nadu govt is likely to take before reopening schools
Before the schools are reopened in the state of Tamil Nadu, the government is likely to take the following measures.

1. The Tamil Nadu government has been considering to reopen schools in January. But, after there was a breakout of COVID-19 cases in IIT Madras and Anna University, authorities are mulling to postpone reopening schools until the situation improves.
2. Public health centres will be connected with schools if they are reopened mid-January after analysing test results of colleges students. According to sources, these centres may be asked to conduct camps in schools regularly to track students’ health.
3. The health centres would also undertake vaccination drive once the shots arrive.
4. Masks will be distributed to government and government-aided schools.
5. The government also plans to invite feedback from parents and academicians before finally deciding on a date to reopen schools.
