SDA dharna demanding recall of Puducherry's LG Kiran Bedi enters third day
The four-day dharna by the Secular Democratic Alliance (SDA) led by the ruling congress party, demanding the recall of Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi, entered the third day near the Anna statue junction here on Sunday

It may be noted that alleging that the Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi is blocking the development of the Union Territory and interfering into the day-to-day affairs of the administration, the SDA began a four-day continuous agitation on January 8.
In spite of rain, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy and some other alliance party leaders slept in the pandal itself for the second successive night.
Mr.Narayanasamy also performing his office work from the dharna site.
The Chief Minister, this morning, called upon the DMK, the main alliance partner to come and join the dharna which is being undertaken for the welfare of the UT.
He said that the DMK participated in the indefinite dharna held in front of the Raj Nivas in 2019.
The leaders of alliance parties also met the DMK leaders and invited them.
However, DMK (South) convener R Siva MLA, refused to accept the invitation and said that he wish all success to the dharna, but the party will not join.
