FIR filed against Udhayanidhi Stalin for obscene remarks on CM

A day after the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of city police registered a case against DMK youth wing leader Udhayanidhi Stalin in connection with his obscene remarks on Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, an FIR has been filed against the actor-politician.

He made the remark during a meeting with his party cadre recently. He has been booked under Sections 153, 294(b) of IPC and 67 of Information Technology Act, said sources.

While addressing the party's advocates wing on Sunday, he made certain comments about the Chief Minister and the video clip of the same went viral, inviting strong criticism.
