Integrated Vellore dist tipplers consume Rs 15 crore worth liquor in 2 days

While Vellore and Tirupattur districts accounted for Rs 4.58 crore and Rs 4.80 crore on November 3 and 4 respectively, Ranipet district accounted for Rs 2.95 crore and Rs 2.71 crore Tasmac sales on the above mentioned days, totaling Rs 15.04 crore during this period. Sales were effected through 115 shops in Vellore and Tirupattur districts and another 88 shops in Ranipet district, officials said. However, the sales this year were less than last year’s festive season sale of Rs 16.07 lakh.
