Gold concealed in laptop confiscated at Tiruchy airport; 3 arrested

CHENNAI: Gold weighing over 1.9 kg was secured at the Tiruchy airport on Saturday.
The gold worth over Rs 1 crore was smuggled by 3 travellers from Dubai and was hidden under a cavity which was attached under the laptop keyboard.
The Customs department arrested the trio and have begun the probe.
