TN cops looking for abducted girl from UP in Coimbatore
The FIR lodged in Ashiyana police station said that the girl was possibly abducted by a teenager studying in the same school, where the missing girl is also studying.
CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu police are now looking for a 12-year-old Class 8 student who was allegedly abducted from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
Following information from Tamil Nadu police DGP that the girl could have been taken to Coimbatore , special teams were deployed in Coimbatore airport and railway station looking for the girl and her abductor, said Coimbatore police commissioner, V Balakrishnan, on Thursday.
"My daughter was kidnapped yesterday. Accused last call was to a Coimbatore location assuming them to arrive there by today night or tomorrow by train. It's a humble request to help us find her Asap. @RPF_INDIA @tnpoliceoffl " said a tweet by Aman B Singh on Wednesday night. He had lodged a complaint at Ashiyana police station in Lucknow on Wednesday.
