Medical aspirant in Tenkasi kills self fearing NEET failure
As the results for the medical entrance exam would be out on September 7, the student feared she might fail for the third time.
CHENNAI: A medical aspirant from Tenkasi's Kulasekaramangalam died by suicide ahead of NEET results that is scheduled to be out on September 7.
The deceased was identified as Rajalakshmi (21), who appeared for NEET exams twice before, but was unable to clear it. She gave it a third try this year.
However, as the result day draws near she feared she might fail in the exams again after the answers for the questions were published on the official website 2 days ago.
Her parents tried to calm her down after she became depressed looking for the answers. Once her parents went away for work last afternoon, Rajalakshmi ended her life in her house.
