Details of students who haven't pursued higher edu to be collected

CHENNAI: The School Education Department on Friday ordered to collect the details of students who have completed Class 12 in the year 2021-22 and have not pursued any higher education.

It has ordered the district education officers to carry out this work on a priority basis and get the details and send them to the State Planning Directorate in the appropriate form.

Further, it is planned to contact the students individually and provide appropriate higher education guidelines and advice from the State Planning Directorate.
