TN edu dept’s circular for employees working in same place for 3 yrs
The circular read that assistants, supervisors, junior assistants etc. of district education offices, who have been working in the same place for three years as of 1.6.2022, should be transferred immediately.
CHENNAI: The Joint Director of the School Education Department on Sunday issued a circular on transfers. Accordingly, those who have worked in the same place for more than 3 years will be transferred.
The circular read that assistants, supervisors, junior assistants etc. of district education offices, who have been working in the same place for three years as of 1.6.2022, should be transferred immediately.
He also ordered that a consultation should be held and steps should be taken to transfer all the posts. The circular also informed that the consultation will be held from the 27th to 30th this month.
Protocols to be followed within the district during consultation:
1. All the employees working in District Education Offices should be advised to attend the transfer consultation held in their district and get transfer order.
2. As on 01.06.2022 all the Ministry / Civil servants working in the same post for more than 3 years in other offices should be given transfer order to other offices after consultation within their district.
3. Other employees working in all offices may participate in the consultation on a voluntary basis.
4. All employees working in Coimbatore and Madurai Zonal Accounts (Audit) Offices shall regularly attend the transfer consultation in the concerned districts.
5. Superintendents working in Integrated School Education and District Teacher Education and Training Institute and Union Teacher Education and Training Institute in all the districts should also participate in the consultation regularly and advise them to choose the new post.
6. For employees who don’t participate in consultation meet, the transfer order will be given to the respective management.
7. In case of non-availability of posts within the district while transferring within their revenue district or when the employee requests another district, they should send their list to the Commissionerate to participate in the transfer consultation from district to district. Also, if there is no possibility of transfer within the district for more than three years, the list of employees should be sent to the Commissioner of School Education.
8. Junior Assistants / Assistants working in schools should be allotted posts following the procedures mentioned in the procedures found in para (4).
9. The above conversion should be carried out on the dates mentioned in the list in all districts. Considering all the employees in Chennai district and school education campus office employees as one unit, the transfer consultation will be conducted as specified in the list found in the attachment in the Commissionerate.
10. In case of more than one employee seeking transfer of the same post, priority should be given to the date of joining of the employee.
11. Although employees who have completed three years of service are eligible for compulsory transfer, there is no need to give transfer for three years if some employees are on the upcoming promotion priority list.
All the primary education officers have been instructed to follow the above rules without fail and implement them without any complaints.
