During the press meet, she said, "There have been incidents of petrol bombing at 6 places in Coimbatore. The houses and shops of BJP officials and supporters have been attacked and so far only 2 people have been arrested. As the incidents happened all over Tamil Nadu, 4 committees have been formed under the leadership of 4 MLAs and we are observing in it in-person. We are going to visit the places where the incident happened and give a report to the party leader. The district of Coimbatore has been subjected to terror attacks at various times and even the smallest issue here can have a big impact."

She urged Stalin to take immediate action without showing favoritism to anyone involved in such activities and without compromise.

She added, "Coimbatore is a city that is growing rapidly & economically. Chief Minister MK Stalin should not allow the disruption of law and order. Those who are against the unity and progress of the country indulge in such activities. Strict action should be taken against them. People involved in such terrorist activities should not be spared. Action shouldn't be denied due to political reasons.

She then questioned regarding the arrest of people involved in petrol bombing, and said, "Why is there a delay in arresting those involved in the petrol bombing despite the evidence? Despite several incidents reported, only 2 people have been arrested. Is there any other political pressure for not taking appropriate action? Those who are against the country and want to disrupt law and order are involved in such activities. All the work is going on for the evening demonstration."
