Communal bigots obstruct our path every time: Stalin

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M K Stalin on Tuesday asked his party workers to avoid providing fodder to political rivals and bravely encounter communal bigots and hate mongers obstructing them.
Referring to the successful conduct of the party general council on Sunday and the flurry of wishes that poured in for his reelection as the DMK president for the second term, Stalin said that the newly-elected party functionaries should accommodate those who failed to get posts in the party.
Recapping his general council speech at length to drive home the point of party senior’s speaking and acting with diligence in public, the Chief Minister said, “Avoid acting and speaking in a manner that would provide fodder to our political rivals. Our goals are high. Our path is clear. But our journey is not easy. These are times when communal forces and hate mongers in politics obstruct and conspire to destroy the plurality of India. DMK has the might to bravely encounter it.”
He also added that the DMK also has the support of the people to overcome the dangers posed by communal forces.
An editorial published by the DMK mouthpiece ‘Murasoli’ on the general council, said that the 15th general council meeting has demonstrated that they are not merely partymen, but ideology driven people.
