Going Viral: 12-year-old’s Eminem cover inspires millions online

Meet Sparsh Shah, a 12-year-old with a rare medical condition who is quickly becoming an internet sensation with a cover of Eminem’s 2010 hit Not Afraid.

Sparsh’s Indian-infused version of Not Afraid has been viewed more than 12 million times and has won praise from famous R&B singers and Bollywood celebrities. The youngster, from New Jersey, has a brittle bone disease which means he suffers frequent fractures and has to use a wheelchair. However, that hasn’t stopped the young lad from going after his dreams. In the video he dedicated the track to Eminem himself, saying the rapper is his idol. The youngster says it is his dream to inspire “billions” of people one day with his musical talent, and hopes to meet, or rap with, Eminem.
