They’re both propelled by Intel’s 10th Gen Core i7 6-core processor with the ability to hit a maximum turbo frequency of 4.7 GHz, allowing you to crunch large amounts of data effortlessly.
Both notebooks offer a USB Type-C port and are equipped with AMD Tadeon 625 and 620 Graphic cards (for the ThinkBook 14 and 15 respectively). This impacts content consumption with faster page loads and smoother video streaming. These laptops include Skype Hot Keys that allow you to hang up Skype for business calls with a single press of a key. We also dig the RapidCharge technology that can power it up from 0 to 80% in one hour and the extra security of a fingerprint reader for easy biometric authentication. (Rs 30,990)
Vivo Y19: Vivo’s latest Y Series device is feature-packed. Battery life is the device’s headline feature. There’s a 5000 mAh battery under the hood and the 18W dual engine fast charger powers your phone in quick time. It’s certainly not short on good looks. The subtle curves of the 3D design create a slim outline that also make this easy to grip. The colours shift with light ripples as the device interacts with light. The Spring White Colour variant is our favourite.
The other highlight is the 6.53-inch FHD+ display that manages to expand the screen-to-body ratio over 90%. Colours are vibrant, while a teardrop notch conceals the selfie cam. The primary cam combines three lenses — 16MP / 8MP / 2MP and also offers macro photography that camera buffs will approve of. Hardware highlights include 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. (Rs 13,999)
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4G: The Apple Watch was the only option if you wanted a 4G watch that allows you to leave your phone behind at home and still stay connected to calls and texts. It’s taken Samsung a while to bring the 4G version of its Galaxy Watch to India, but it’s finally here. It’s not just the best option for Android users, but it might well be your only option if you need a truly independent Android-compatible wearable.
There are two iterations of this circular watch — a 42mm version and a larger 46mm version that we tested. Samsung’s displays are truly vibrant and the Galaxy Watch reaffirms this. The 1.3-inch Super AMOLED circular display (360 x 360 pixels) packs an impressive 278 Pixels per inch. Colours are sharp even under sunlight. The Galaxy Watch’s circular design mimics a conventional circular watch. It’s powered by an Exynos dual-core 1.15 GHz processor, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of Internal memory. The 472 mAh battery on the 46mm version delivered about three to four days of battery life in our tests — a big win for this watch over its rivals.
