Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Flip is probably the first foldable that goes beyond just being a concept device. The Z Flip doesn’t just score on novelty value, it’s also a seriously good smartphone that gets daily stuff done.

Samsung calls it Flex Mode. The Z Flip can fold to half its size and slip into your shirt pocket and open out to reveal an immersive 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display (1080 x 2636 pixels) with a unique 21.9:9 aspect ratio. There’s a ‸tiny 1.1-inch cover display that allows you to catch up on notifications and the time without having to flip the phone open. The Z Flip feels light and every inch premium in your hand. You can place the phone in an open position on a table or any other surface for a hands-free video call or even snap selfies from a whole new angle. The 10MP selfie shooter is quite sharp and won’t let serious selfie fiends down. The dual rear cam combines two 12MP lenses and shoots stellar lowlight images.

Concept devices can sometimes be tricky in everyday situations; not the Z Flip. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor combines with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal memory and keeps things quite snappy. We enjoyed intense gaming on this device and it aced our benchmark tests too. The 3300 mAh battery should last for a whole day with a mix of multi-media usage. The battery offers 15W charging; this means your device won’t power up as quickly as the S20 trio of devices. But this is not a device that is just about performance or specs, it’s all about the user experience. And that’s where the Z Flip scores. It’s the best foldable smartphone out there. (Rs 1,09,999)

Mi Wireless Power Bank: With most premium smartphones now offering wireless charging, it’s time you ditched wires; not just for your home charging but even to juice up your battery on the go. Xiaomi’s new Mi Wireless Power Bank is the brand’s first wireless charging solution. It offers simultaneous charge on two mobile devices and uses high-quality lithium polymer batteries that ensure longevity and higher standard of safety. The power bank also comes with a non-skid wireless charging surface/pad and comes with two way 18W fast charging on both USB Type A output port and USB Type C input port and offers 10W wireless charging. (Rs 2,499)

Wings Glide: a stylish accessory that comes in a choice of four colours including olive green and burgundy, Wings Glide earphones provide a rich acoustic experience at its sticker prices. Sound quality gets a boost with HD Bass that adds thump to your playlist. A quick 1.5-hour charge gives you 6 hours of battery life whether you’re listening to music or catching up on calls on the go. These headphones work with iOS and Android devices (Rs 1,199)
