According to the South Korean news outlet ETNews, the smartphone manufacturer Samsung will release two variants of Galaxy Z Fold 3 and two variants of Galaxy Z Flip 2 and both these models will have support for 5G.

The report also stated that all four foldable phones are only planned to be launched in the second half of 2021. Therefore, do not expect these devices to be unveiled with the Galaxy S21 series.

Samsung is also planning to include S Pen support for the higher-end Z Fold 3, which many fans have been hoping for since the first Galaxy Fold.

Earlier, the company filed a patent for three foldable smartphone designs with cutouts for inner cameras.

The patent includes three different designs - two with an outward folding screen like the Huawei Mate Xs and one with an inward folding screen like the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

All three of them have a cutout on the front display so that the cameras present inside can be used even when the phone is closed.

Samsung introduced Galaxy Z Fold 2 that sports a 6.2-inch cover screen and a 7.6-inch main screen when unfolded.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 is Samsung's third foldable smartphone after Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip.
