A message advocating the use of Vitamin C as a cure for the coronavirus is now going viral. Sent by Laila Ahmadi from China, from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Zanjan University, the message also quotes a professor, who seems to have said, “Slices of lemon in a cup of lukewarm water can save your life.” Alt News debunked the story, saying the message was a combo of an older post about lemons and a new data attributed to Ahmadi. All characters were found to be fictitious, and there is no proof for the ‘remedy’.
