DeTect: Woman denies claims of politico misbehaving with her

Last week, a Congress leader headed to Hathras was stopped by the police. A clip from the sit-in shows the leader tapping a woman on the shoulder, whispering in her ear and sharing a laugh. The video went viral with a message that said he had behaved inappropriately with the woman. Alt News reached out to this lady who was the Uttaranchal Punjabi Mahila Mahasabha president Shilpi Arora. She went on to deny the claims and said the gesture was made in jest.
