DeTect: Pawan Hans falsely accused of bias against students

Last week, a Hindi TV channel claimed Pawan Hans Ltd was practicing some form of “job jihad” based on a list of recruits that was made public recently. The channel’s editor-in-chief suggested that the government-owned company was only recruiting aspirants from the minority community and that Hindu students were being discriminated against.
