Communal spin given to footage of land dispute

A video of a woman being manhandled by many people, including some women, who hold her by the hair, kick and beat her with slippers and sticks has gone viral. It was claimed the video is from Pakistan, and the victim is a Hindu. Alt News found that an old video of a woman being hit in Pakistan’s Sialkot over a land dispute was falsely shared by social media users as atrocities on Hindus in the country. The incident took place in December 2021 and all the parties in the matter hail from the minority community.
