A video clip of a group of men who allegedly demolish the gates of a religious structure has gone viral. It was claimed that Muslims in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur destroyed an ancient Hindu temple. A user shared the clip with a caption that read, “Jihadis demolish ancient temple in AP. Wake up Hindus.” Alt News found that the video of a conflict between two groups of the minority community on whether a mosque should be built in place of an existing memorial was shared with a false context.
