The main reason why people continue to smoke is because they are addicted to nicotine. Nicotine Replacement Therapy will reduce help reduce unpleasant withdrawal  effects, such as mood swings and headaches, which may occur when you stop smoking. It can be bought from pharmacies and some shops. It is also available on prescription from a doctor. It is available in various forms, namely, skin patches, chewing gum, inhalators (which look like plastic cigarettes, tablets, oral strips and lozenges and nasal and mouth spray). However, it is essential to meet a psychiatrist if your attempts go in vain.

Carry all necessary medication. If you have a history of travel sickness, ensure you see your doctor first and carry a first aid kit. Get plenty of sleep the night before your flight and avoid overeating just before you board. Drink plenty of water. If you are scared of heights avoid sitting by the window. Keep yourself covered as it tends to get cold on the flight. Lastly, while travelling, keep yourself free of hand baggage. It is better to be seated comfortably.
