With sculpted abs, toned arms and legs, who can blame men from across the country to want a body like Varun Dhawan’s? The Judwaa 2 actor is unstoppable at the box office and gives us major fitness goals when he hits the gym. He draws inspiration from the likes of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Varun recently uploaded a picture of himself at the gym, with weights and captioned it, “Back to the grind. 

Training for something big.” So if you’re struggling to get in shape or looking for fitness motivation, here is Varun Dhawan’s diet and fitness regime for you.

Recently, Varun’s fitness trainer Namrata Purohit, revealed the actor’s diet and fitness routine, after his Instagram page had continuous updates from him posting pictures of his sculpted body.

“Varun works out for about one and a half hours, four to six times a week depending on his schedule. He does a mix of pilates and weight training, and works on strengthening his body as well as on agility, flexibility, balance and stability,” the fitness expert said.

According to her, Varun usually starts his workout with warm-up exercises, and then moves onto cardio and heavy weight training. His instagram post also revealed that he feels that cycling is the best way to get where you want. On the diet front, Varun may be spotted on social media devouring junk food on his cheat days, but he enjoys eating clean and leading a healthy lifestyle overall.

For breakfast, Varun eats omelette, oatmeal and whole-wheat grain sandwich.

For lunch, he prefers brown rice, three chapatis, broccoli and baked chicken.

When his cravings to gorge on some snack arises, he eats lotus seeds, papaya, banana or drinks a protein smoothie. He usually eats a light dinner with plenty of mixed greens and grilled fish.
