Fitness Mantra: Shraddha doesn’t fuss about eating upma

After Aashiqui 2 happened to Shraddha Kapoor, there was no looking back. Next year, she’s about to debut in the south with Prabhas in his next film Saaho and the actress is working full-time to keep her fitness quotient up there. Her four main go-to workouts to keep her body and most importantly mind, in shape, are as follows.

According to the Baaghi 2 star:

PILATES:  Improves flexibility and develops control and endurance in the entire body, with a focus on breathing and balance 

YOGA: Going to the gym may have its benefits but yoga is a form of meditation and exercise combined. It gives the body shape and overall strength, endurance and power

AEROBICS: Training routines in this exercise form are drastically said to improve cardio-vascular health if practiced in the proper way. Muscle strength combined with stamina achieved over time during aerobics also helps her while swimming 

DANCE: It’s part of her job profile to be adept at dancing so she can often be seen posting videos on her Instagram profile of practice sessions. Shraddha also loves to jog whenever she gets the chance but as much as she focuses on different workout styles, she says eating right is vital for physical and emotional fitness. 

Her meals can easily be replicated in any Indian household because for breakfast she has poha or upma and lunch and dinner consists of roti with vegetables, dal or fish curry. Having a Punjabi father and Maharashtrian mother have ensured she eats food from the best of both worlds!
