Diabetics should adopt healthy eating habits, and keep watch over their lipid levels and take their medicines regularly. Consume fibrerich diet and lower intake of refined grains, red processed meats, and sugar-sweetened beverages. Calorie and total fat restrictions, coupled with at least 150 min/week of aerobic exercise or yoga and relaxation will help reduce blood glucose levels. Get your doctor’s approval before starting an exercise program.
