What kind of health complications can happen during travel?
-Lavanya, Resident of Alandur
There can be ortho and neuro complications while enduring physically exhaustive tours. The climatic variations may affect elderly and middle aged people with heart problems, spinal surgeries and other health issues linked to children. It is necessary to avoid burnout while receiving a psychological relief of travelling after a hectic and stressed up month. Diet and food intake in train and flight should be monitored. Travel hazards and health complications linked to journeys like swelling of leg, headaches and skin rashes can also occur.

What is false hope syndrome?
-Raghu Kumar, Resident of Nandambakkam
False hope syndrome means that people usually take resolutions, which is significantly unrealistic and out of alignment with their internal view of themselves. This principle reflects that of making positive affirmations. When you make positive affirmations about yourself that you don’t believe, the positive affirmations don’t work and can damage your self-esteem and revert you to old behaviour. The danger in such a scenario is of self-loathing and self-harm and leads to depression and in most cases, people may think of drugs and alcohol. However, we can also be addicted to activities and behaviours.
