Originating in South Korea, the ‘Light Rose Garden’ is on a world tour. Its first overseas stop, Hong Kong, hosted the garden on Valentine’s Day.
The garden is made up of 25,000 waterproof white roses arranged tightly in Hong Kong’s landmark Central and Western District Promenade, with 25 roses planted every three square meters.
The organiser of this special garden is Jung Yong Jin and said created this LED rose garden because he wanted families, friends and lovers to come out to parks at night.
The roses will light up each night and instantly illuminate the park against the backdrop of Hong Kong’s skyline.
The ‘Light Rose Garden’ is open to the public till February 22 in Hong Kong. The next stop of the tour is Singapore.
