New York
Aptly and simply named, ‘Greenery’ is meant to represent rejuvenation, renewal and rebirth, inspired by early spring and lush foliage, it is both vibrant and versatile enough to be paired with a wide range of colours, from neutrals to metallics.
According to Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Colour Institute, “Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolises the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.” Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings.
What is Pantone colour of the year?
A symbolic colour selection, a colour snapshot of what they see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.
