In the footage circulating among the members of the terrorist group on Telegram, the notorious leader was seen with a couple of militants. The video was published by the network's al-Furqan media group.
It has been over five years since he was ever seen in a video made public. However it is unclear when or where the video was filmed.
He has already been reported dead several times. Russia claimed to have killed Baghdadi in a 2017 airstrike.
The United States had put up a $25 million reward for his capture, the same amount as it had offered for al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and his successor Ayman al-Zawahri.
