UNGA concludes General Debate
On Monday, UN General Assembly concluded with Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, the President of the current session of the UN General Assembly, stating that he was impressed by calls for multilateralism and for climate action by 192 nations.

This year's General Debate of the UN General Assembly concluded after representatives of 192 countries spoke at the green marble podium around the theme of "Galvanizing multilateral efforts for poverty eradication, quality education, climate action and inclusion".
In his closing remarks, Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, the President of the current session of the UN General Assembly, said on Monday he was impressed by calls for multilateralism and for climate action, Xinhua reported.
This year's General Debate was preceded by a Climate Action Summit convened by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, as well as a high-level meeting on universal health coverage.
During the General Debate, a Sustainable Development Goals summit, a high-level dialogue on financing for development, and a high-level meeting to commemorate and promote the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons were also held in addition to hundreds of other meetings.
