At least 15 people were killed and about 40 others injured when a lorry carrying stones ploughed into other vehicles and pedestrians in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday.

He also visited the injured in the hospital and inquired about their well being.

According to reports it is still not clear as to what caused the accident, but according to eyewitnesses it was probably brake failure which led to the driver losing control of the truck and it ploughed into the people.
