In a bid to make a pan-India name for itself, electric two-wheeler manufacturing startup EeVe has unveiled two-wheelers, Tesero and Forseti, in the 14th edition of the mega event of the Indian Auto Expo 2020.
The Indian startup has already established itself as a strong name in parts of Eastern India like Odisha, where it has sold over 1,200 vehicles within 4 months of its launch.
Out of these two vehicles, Tesero is an e-bike, and Forseti, a retro styled e-scooter, equipped with advanced features and high-end technology. The products are scheduled to hit the Indian markets by June 2020.
Newly showcased products, Tesero and Forseti come with a fresh look, characterized by a sense of dynamism.
Speaking to IANS here at Auto-Expo 2020, Harsh Didwania, Co-Founder & Director of EeVe said, "As an exclusive electric two-wheeler manufacturing startup, we understand the pain points of the Indian two-wheeler user as well as the environmental situation in our country.
I am confident that our latest offerings will generate excitement among the customers and we will get a positive response from the market."
When asked, how the company will take on the likes of Piaggio and Okinawa, in the electric-two wheeler market, Didwani said, "We are offering a five year warranty on our products for the consumer, which one of the giant players offer. Plus understand the needs of Indian automotive market better than anyone else."
Earlier Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Piaggio revealed the Vespa Elettrica production version, which it plans to put into Indian market very soon.
While Okinawa also unveiled one of its concept Maxi-E scooter at the auto-expo, hinting at its intention to capture a share in growing Indian electric-two wheeler market.
