Ajit Kumar Chordia new Chairman for CII-IGBC Chennai

CHENNAI: Ajit Kumar Chordia, MD, Olympia Group India has taken charge as the chairman of CII-IGBC Chennai Chapter.

Chordia is an executive board member of IGBC and his project Olympia Technology Park is one of the first business parks in India that got platinum certified by IGBC. He has played a key role in facilitating the partnership between CREDAI members and IGBC Chennai Chapter. Mahesh Anand, president, decorative paint division & additional director, Nippon Paint (India) Private Limited has taken charge as the co-chair of IGBC Chennai Chapter. Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), formed by CII in 2001, is spearheading the green building movement in India. Over 8,250 projects from across the country, equivalent to 8.30 billion sq ft, have adopted various IGBC Green and net zero building ratings.
