Continental Tires expands retail presence in south

CHENNAI: Leading premium tyre manufacturer Continental Tires continues to expand its retail presence in India, with three new image shops in Tamil Nadu.

The Conti Premium Drive (CPD) stores are situated in Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Erode.

With its various expansion initiatives, Continental has been increasing its retail footprint in India. The three new CPD stores would take Continental’s total CPD stores to 200 across the country, including 71 CPD stores in south.

Apart from retailing Continental’s wide range of premium passenger vehicle tyres for cars and SUVs, the stores feature a workshop equipped with the latest machinery and technologies to handle all tyre and vehicle-related services. Each of these shops caters to all types of vehicle segments - Passenger and Light Truck (PLT), 4*4, and SUVs. Rajnish Kochgave, Head of Sales and Marketing, PLT division, Continental India, stated, “Gradually, we are planning to increase the retail footprint to the remaining part of the state and remaining states of south.”

Additionally, he acknowledged the Continental association with Chola Tyres, Covai Tyres, and Parimalam Tyres. “These stores offer various services and will continue to expand the portfolio to provide an exhaustive range of Continental products,” he added.
