Nawazuddin confirmed for Hindi remake of Oththa Seruppu

It’s been only a couple of days since we reported that Parthiban was working on a project titled Iravin Nizhal, which will be Asia’s first single-shot feature film. The actor-director himself revealed that the film will be shot with many artistes and it will go on floors in early 2020.

Now, it looks like, Parthiban has changed his mind, as he is all set to work on a Hindi project, which is the remake of his recent film, Oththa Seruppu Size 7, which garnered huge appreciations from both critics and the audience.

Interestingly, acclaimed Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddique, who also made his debut in Tamil with Superstar’s Petta, has been roped in to play the lead. Parthiban also posted a picture of himself with Nawazuddin Siddique on his social media page. He said, “We have planned to remake Oththa Seruppu Size 7 in Hindi with Nawazuddin. The photo was taken during our discussion.” Oththa Seruppu is an engrossing experimental thriller, which features only one character throughout. While Parthiban played the protagonist in the original, the film was directed and produced by him.

Meanwhile,  he is also discussing a project with Vadivelu, with whom he has acted in several films.
