Master on-location video leak upsets the makers

Ever since director Lokesh Kanagaraj released the first look poster of Master, featuring Thalapathy Vijay in an intense look, there have been a lot of expectation surrounding the project among movie buffs.

Reports also suggest that the makers are planning to reveal actor Vijay Sethupathi’s look from the film on Pongal, all the more reason for the fans to rejoice. However, on Wednesday, a clip from the sets of the film was leaked online, which not only revealed Sethupathi’s look from the film but also gave netizens a glimpse of his character.

Sethupathi was seen walking towards a moving camera, sporting a villainous look. Going by the video, it looks like, fans who were watching the shoot from one of the rooftops nearby, shot the scene with the mobile camera and uploaded it on social media. A source from the film’s unit revealed that the makers were upset with the leaked video and they were planning to take necessary steps against the miscreants. The team also has instructed the assistant directors and other workers not to carry mobile phones to the sets of the film henceforth.

The shoot of Master is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Shivamogga. Scenes involving both the Vijays are being helmed in the interiors of the city. Bankrolled by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators, the film features Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Ramya Subramanian and Soundarya Nandakumar in significant roles.
