TR to play a musician in his upcoming directorial venture

A source in the know told DT Next, “The film is based on a world renowned musician and TR will be playing the role. The film is being planned on a grand scale asit will have scenes of him performing atglobal concerts.”

The source added that Namitha, who was last seen in Tamil in Ilamai Oonjal (2016) has been approached to play the female lead.

“TR and Namitha were supposed to work on another project last year, which didn’t materialse. Hence, they will be working in this project and her role has been kept under wraps. The film is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of this year. The film produced by T Rajendhar under his home banner Chimbu Cine Arts will also be directed by him and have the film’s music composed by him,” the source added.
