TikTok fame Naveen to make his acting debut

Talking to DT Next, Naveen said, “The film will be directed by Hemanth, Gautham Menon’s associate.

It is a film that will motivate and inspire youngsters. There will be everything in the movie — action, comedy and romance. We are all set to roll soon.” Naveen said that he used TikTok in a positive way for people to recognise his talent. “There has been a severe backlash on people, who have misused the app. However, it has a positive side as well. I created my own concept and videos with messages of motivation. I didn’t want to be just another user, who does lip sync of famous personalities. That could be the reason Hemanth chose to cast me in the lead role,” he added.

Despite penning his own concepts and videos, Naveen said that he would like to stick to acting. “I always wanted to become an actor and that is the reason, I forayed into the platform. I received quite a few offers, which weren’t convincing enough. However, Hemanth’s story was impressive and I realised that this will be a perfect launch pad for me as an artiste,” he concluded.
