Varalaxmi’s upcoming thriller to release on March 6

The makers of her upcoming film, Velvet Nagaram, have announced that the film will hit the screens on March 6 along with Sibiraj’s Walter. Directed by debutant Manoj Kumar Nagarajan, the film is touted to be an intense crime thriller.

Sources say that the film is inspired by real incidents that happened a few years ago in Kodaikanal. The film also features Ramesh Thilak in a pivotal role along with Kasthuri and Arjai. Produced by Makers Studio and D Pictures, Achu Rajamani will be composing music for the project. Meanwhile, Varalaxmi is also shooting for a Telugu film titled Krack, which has Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles.
