Vijay worried about his son stranded in Canada

Actor Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay, completed his schooling last year at the American International School in Chennai. Despite being flooded with film offers from leading directors, Sanjay left for Canada to pursue a degree in filmmaking. The latest is that Sanjay has been stranded with his housemates in Canada.

A source in the know of things told DT Next, “Canada too has advised a travel ban and Sanjay is stuck with his friends. He has his family friends and cousins living in other parts of Canada and couldn’t move from where he is currently. Vijay has been frequently in touch and inquiring about him and his friends on their safety.” 

Before his departure to Canada, Sanjay had already directed a short film in which he also played the lead role. There was speculation that Shankar wanted to launch Sanjay in a film that would also feature Vikram’s son Dhruv. However, Vijay has reportedly requested him to wait till his son returns after completing the course. Meanwhile, Vijay awaits the release of Master.
