‘Queen Season 2 will be more thrilling’: Actress Ramya Krishnan

“I am just waiting to get there and be a part of it. People can expect more action, more interesting content, thrilling and exciting content,” she said. The shooting is yet to begin owing to the ongoing lockdown.

“We don’t have clarity on when shooting will start. With the quarantine right now, we are yet to know,” she said and added, “Last when I spoke to the series’ writer Reshma, she informed that she was done with the script. It’s all ready to go on floors but it depends on the quarantine phase now.”

Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon along with Prasath Murugesan, Queen chronicled the life of Shakti Seshadri. The character was widely compared to the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa as the series was said to be inspired by her life story.
