Vijay-Atlee combination to be back soon?

After Theri, Mersal, and Bigil, sources in tinseltown tell us that they will be teaming up for yet another project next year.

“Atlee is said to have narrated a one-liner to Vijay during the lockdown and the actor has asked him to develop it into a bound script. It looks like the narration will take place once things are back to normal and a decision will be made on their collaboration,” said the sources.

However, it is not clear if they will collaborate for Vijay 65 or 66. A source close to the actor and director told us that they aren’t collaborating at least for the next couple of projects.

Atlee would be seen teaming up with Varun Dhawan immediately for the Hindi remake of Theri after the lockdown ends. He also has narrated another story to Shah Rukh Khan, for which an official announcement is expected to be made on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. Meanwhile, Vijay is awaiting the release of his film Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vijay 65 will be produced by Sun Pictures. However, there are several speculations on From the sets of Mersal who will direct the film.
