‘Colors will be a character-driven film’

Touted to be a crime thriller, director Nissar told DT Next, “We have completed the shoot of Colors before the lockdown and are eyeing for a suitable release date. This is a crime thriller. Though we have several artistes like Varalaxami, Ramkumar, Ineya, Divya, and Bala Saravanan in various roles, each of them will have their own prominence in the film.” Produced by Aji Idicula of LimeLight Pictures, the story is penned by Prasad Parapuram, an Ernakulam-based police officer. “The film is based on relationships and how each of their characters is interconnected. The suspense element will unfold with each scene. There are also martial arts sequences that will grip the audience,” added Nissar. Meanwhile, Varalaxmi has Pamban, Chasing, and Krack in Tamil and Telugu in the pipeline.
