Simbu’s stunning make-over astonishes his die-hard fans

Simbu’s latest transformation video has grabbed a lot of attention and has been one of the most discussed topics among movie buffs. Sources close to the actor, who witnessed the change told DT Next, “More than the physical transformation, Simbu has transformed as a person really well this lockdown. There were people who made fun of the way he looked. However, he knew deep within that he could do this.” The source added that Simbu did not reveal to anybody his plans. “He did not meet anyone or even before he could show a variation in his physique. But when he saw him, we were astonished and that is when he opened up the Hindu philosophy of Atman and how he resorted to it.” Weighing 105 kilos at the start, he followed the regimen and brought down his weight to 72 kilos. The actor follows a strict vegetarian diet and workout regime. “He achieved this with the help of city-based trainer Sudharshan Annadurai. He follows a bland diet regime and goes to sleep before nine in the night. If not for the beard, he would look like the Silambarasan from Kaadhal Azhivadhillai days. He said that this transformation is for his fans, who were taunted in the last few years when they said they were his fans. This will reflect on his choice of films in future,” added the source.

The motion poster of Simbu’s next with Susienthiran was unveiled along with the title on Monday. The movie is named Eeswaran in which Simbu plays the titular role and the story is about cricket. In the picture, Simbu’s weight loss looks evident and has inspired many. Produced by Balaji Kapa’s Madhav Media Eeswaran will hit the screens on Pongal 2021.
