CHENNAI: The shoot of National award-winning director Vetrimaaran’s upcoming film Viduthalai is progressing at a rapid pace. The two-part film is on the verge of completion with a fight sequence left to be shot.
Another exclusive update is that noted cinematographer-director Rajiv Menon is on board to play a pivotal role in the film. This will be his second acting venture after the 1998 Malayalam film Harikrishnans. “Both parts of Viduthalai are being shot in one go and 90 per cent of the movie is complete.
There is a massive stunt sequence that is to be filmed with stunt coordinators coming from abroad. Once Peter Hein comes back to Viduthalai sets, we will finish it off in a single stretch. The fight sequence is for the second part of the film. First part of the movie has already been completed. The specialty of the stunt is that the stuntmen will simultaneously fight and film the shoot jumping around with cameras,” a k-town source told DT Next.
