Vishal resumes shoot after back injury, joins Mark Antony sets

CHENNAI: Actor-producer Vishal, who recently recovered from a back injury has resumed shooting for his upcoming period action film Mark Antony, helmed by Adhik Ravichandran. Produced by Vinod Kumar of Mini Studios, the latest schedule of the film commenced earlier this month in Chennai. However, Vishal couldn’t participate in the shoot because of a minor back niggle. “The actor joined the sets a couple of days ago and has been shooting for his portions at a rapid pace. Almost 3 months of shooting is left to be completed for Mark Antony. The makers aim to wrap up the film in November and release it for the summer of 2023,” a source in the know told DT Next.

The film will have Vishal and SJ Suryah in dual roles. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music for this film which will have editing by Vijay Velukutty & cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam. Vishal also has Laththi directed by debutant A Vinoth Kumar. The film is in its post-production stages and makers aim for a December release.
