Thunivu wrapped; Ajith to bike across 7 continents after AK62

On Sunday, there were reports around Ajith’s Thunivu shooting that the actor is shooting in Chennai’s Anna Salai and the traffic on the stretch is chock-a-block with an important scene for the film is being shot. However, we learn it was a leaked picture from the shoot that took place in Hyderabad a few months ago. “Thunivu has been wrapped up in Bangkok and the team has returned to Chennai. Only a day’s patchwork is left for which the team would shoot in a later date,” a tinseltown source told us. Directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor, Thunivu is a heist film that has Ajith in different shades.

Sources from the biking community give a sneak-peek into Ajith’s plans in the next few months. The actor will be joining the sets of his film with Vignesh Shivan that will be bankrolled by Lyca. “He will be wrapping up the shoot of his 62nd film early next year and set off on a bike trip, a world tour along with three more bikers across seven continents,” says our birdie. Yes! The actor will be covering Antarctica as well in a trip that will cover 62 countries across 18 months. This means that he will be off shoots for over 18 months and will be biking across dangerous terrains on Earth. “Though Thunivu team has returned to Chennai, Ajith is still in Thailand prepping for his world tour,” adds the source.
