Drink plenty of water, as dehydration makes eyes feel tired and gritty, reducing tear production. Adequate sleep is required as tired eyes gets dry. Do not self-medicate or use drops advised by pharmacies, as they may give drops containing steroids and/or antibiotics for instant relief. Drops for ‘eye redness’ are not advisable. Instead, visit an eye doctor in case of red eyes, blurry vision, puffy eyes or discharge from eyes.
