    Gopi (31), Baker

I am originally from Jayanayakapati village in Dindugal. After completing Class 10, I could not continue my studies due to personal problems. I began as a helper at a tailoring shop in Thiruporur. I have done many jobs since then. I worked at a sweet shop, slipper showroom, ice cream parlour and many private firms. Meanwhile, I came to Chennai in search of a job. Though I found one, I lost it after my employer came to know about my relationship with a girl. After a few months, with the help of a friend, I got the job as a helper at a bakery in the city. Though I started by cleaning and doing dishes, I admired how other employees baking cakes and biscuits. Slowly, I began to learn how to bake. My employer taught me the techniques during his free time. After acquiring the interest, I tried my hand at baking. In 2014, I got married and after that, we shifted to Velachery. I am now living a happy life. I have a daughter who is studying in kindergarten at a private school. I also work as a delivery agent with Uber Eats in the evenings. My only aim in life is to build a house in Chennai and make my family happy by aiding them fulfil their dreams.
