Slice Of Life: ‘I became trainer to encourage other women’

I was obese 10 years ago. As it would lead to health issues in the later stages of life, I was looking for options to lose weight. I looked for a gym and joined there to lose weight.
Once I joined, I developed an interest in it and eventually became a trainer for other women who hesitate to join the gym. There are not enough female trainers. My husband is also a gym trainer and our son is studying. I take care of the household and also go to the gym. It is difficult to maintain the schedule as I have to be at the gym at around 5 am. I need to finish household chores before that.
There has been a huge change in the field in the past 10 years as people are more health-conscious now. Fitness has become one of the priorities recently. At least 30 people come to my gym every day. I also have to ensure that I keep myself fit to serve as a good example for those who join.
Many women think that working out at the gym would make their body masculine and affect feminine body structure. But I want to remind every woman that it is not true and exercise is very important. It will also help avoid most of the lifestyle diseases that are on the rise now.
